MEANING OF THE LETTERS IN THE JELUSICK LOGO
The special letters in the JSK emblem logo are in Glagoljica (the Glagolitic script) and is the oldest known Slavic alphabet, created in the 9th century by the Byzantine monk Saint Cyril to translate liturgical texts into Old Church Slavonic.
While its use eventually faded across most of the Slavic world, it survived for centuries in Croatia as a key component of their national identity, where it evolved into a unique angular style often used for Church Slavonic.
You can find the Glacolicija on the Baška tablet (Croatian: Bašćanska ploča) and is one of the first monuments containing an inscription in the Croatian recension of Church Slavonic, dating from c. 1100 AD.
The letters used in this emblem mean JELUSICK.
